What about the "Renate Alumnus" entry? There's no way it meant what he said it did.

-
Agree. This is SUCH a reach.
-
I don't see how the faculty advisor censoring changes anything. That's why you'd use this kind of double language in the first place. I mean, whatever the real meaning is, the text is in there. Also: Brett's lawyer said it referred to him kissing Renate, which she denied
-
Also, she did not know about the entry and was upset by it.
-
and yet somehow it meant "she was one of us!"
-
Also, there are the corroborating statements that support the obvious conclusion (that being a girl's "alumni" doesn't refer to friendship). I feel like every time I dig down the rabbit hole with Brett, there's a staggering amount of evidence that shows he's lying.pic.twitter.com/uRMh2cueTh
-
I believe it refers to having gone out with her. As she understood at the time and they admit they considered her a "safety date." It is also consistent with the joke that being an alumnus meant you couldn't find another date. Also consistent with the "framed" parenthetical.

1. The standard of review isn’t perjury; it’s honesty and truthfulness. 2. Devil’s Triangle “fallen apart” is obviously a rehearsed cover-up. 3. The boof “fallen apart” is an admission that his answer wasn’t truthful. 4. FFFFF is same friend cover. But sure Sam, yes!
-
Rehearsed cover up? Please don't fall into conspiracy theory. One of the guy year book text mention he is the creator of the name (but not the game itself). Look maybe it's Photoshop? I don't know but it's very unlikely he would.pic.twitter.com/t3aS0Ud7C2

It says name. Why would he need to photoshop that? The coverup for the FFFFF club is his statement that it’s a game. Kavanaugh was very eager to describe how it was played in his testimony. What Supreme Court nominee has ever been so eager to describe a drinking game mechanics?
-
Wow - so either he doesn't give much detail, then he's "evasive, full of baloney, dodgy" or does give detail in which case why "so eager to give so much detail"! lol. That's why people are fed up of the left.
-
Yes when the drinking game rules is the only thing he is eager to describe its an easy tell that it’s been rehearsed
-
Obviously Brett will have looked into all the known allegations against him and prepared a rebuttal. Are you criticising him for that? Ford had a prepared speech and would have been coached on how to respond to various questions - that's standard practice.
-
So we agree it was rehearsed. Take his response to Klobuchar. That couldn’t have been rehearsed, he’s now apologizing for it. But this game, he rehearsed it. A game no one else on Earth has ever played or heard of or bragged about in their yearbooks with a very special name.
-
Also true: people rehearse lies. Mom: where were you? Teen: out with Kimmy, her parents were home, no boys. And blow job is a game we play with lollipops.

Well, the posterior should change. If the prior changes, you have a time machine
-
Is not that you update your prior after every evidence in Bayesian? So that you have better model to predict.
-
The terminology I am familiar with is that your prior probability is what you thought before. After you see evidence, you can compute the posterior probability. If you have evidence coming sequentially, the last calculation’s posterior will be the next’s prior
