Journalists accuse Trump of not thinking daily. Give us a break Sam.

Do you really not get it or are just pretending not to?
-
Don't get what? She'll live. Sam is melodramatic about everything that has to do with Trump.
-
Noticing the President of the United States behaving boorishly isn’t melodramatic. Also, the irony of a guy who lives with both feet in his mouth telling someone they never think is remarkable. Imagine the outrage had she replied, “You’re one to talk.”
-
Presidents decide who lives and dies. Telling someone they don't think is hardly boorish when contrasted with approving a drone strike earlier in the day. Also she would be praised almost everywhere if she responded with, "You're one to talk.".
-
I love the contradiction between the concept of a president as a civic servant vs the concept of a president as a god emperor that decides who lives and who dies.
-
He's the commander and chief of the US military. Obama held the same position. That's not a God or emperor.
-
He has no basic respect for the position. The fact that it doesn't anger you that the person running your country wouldn't make the tiniest effort to make it run smoothly (like, lets say, not completely ruin your pr), seems very curious to me.

What I don't understand is why the press aren't united against this oppressiveness. Why couldn't they all react in a way that would have made it known to trump that his misogynistic attack on her was wrong.I would have walked out of there if I witnessed that happen to a colleague
-
This isn't his first time and he just seems to be getting bolder with the way he treats the press. We all saw what he did in London, we see him everyday lying and pointing fingers at the press.
-
If the press wants respect, perhaps they shouldn't demonize anyone critical of current immigration policy, or anyone who is honestly appraising the affect that Islam is having on the world. Do that, which is a low bar, and you won't have to deal with a Trump-like figure.
-
He didn't attack the press, he attacked an individual!
-
Any group is comprised of individuals, but yes. Breaking news, Trump isn't a nice guy. As long as mainstream positions are demonized by journalists and commentators, people have no problem tolerating this kind of thing. I can't blame them.
-
are you really saying Trump's PR problem is the product of a journalistic bias? have you heard the dude talk?
-
I just characterized Trump as someone we wouldn't have to deal with if our society was behaving half-decently to begin with. So no, although if I'm being exact, a nontrivial portion of it certainly is.
-
yeah ok, that's something we can agree on.

did you watch the whole clip? he was fair with her, let her ask a question on trade and would come back to pick on her again for a kavanaugh question. he was just 'busting her balls' initially, not meanspirited.

Trump’s a bore, but is she a reporter, or a “female” reporter? And being “female” means being treated equally or differently? The rules seem to bend at a moments notice.

What are your thoughts on the gang of thugs standing behind him laughing?
-
I think it means you have internalized misandry.
-
Females were present.
-
But to answer your question, it means they have a sense of humor. Has life been difficult for you, Priscilla, not having a sense of humor an all?
-
There's a difference between having a sense of humor and showing respect.
-
You’re right, she should have shown more respect, he is the leader of the free world, after all! Priscilla, is a blue wave what happens when someone pushes the porta potty over when you’re inside?
-
She showed disrespect how?
-
By laughing to dip shitts response
