I'm disappointed. You promised to call this one "The Haidt of Insanity." Or, maybe you didn't.

This was such a great episode! Really important, I wish more young people were willing to listen to conversations like this
-
Just two old guys grumbling about how terrible kids these days are... nothing to learn here

Old enemies becoming companions; love it.

Haidt and harris? Enemies?
-
Yup, before the beyond belief panel in 2008. They were highly critical of each other's moral arguments. Haidt through a few volleys at him and Richard, expressing contempt for their views on the evolutionary benefits of Religion; Check it out.

Wow i should! Although this is their second podcast, I think, so they must have hugged it out earlier

Great interview. Keep up the good, hard work. Your podcast is a shining example of how much can get accomplished with vigorous and uncomfortable debate.
-
Sam never asked a hard question, and both men were well within their comfort zones the entire time. I can’t see why you would characterize this as ‘vigorous and uncomfortable.’
-
I was talking about his podcast generally—this one was pretty tame.

Glad to see Haidt getting some time on more common media outlets too. He's a real rorschach test for those who can/can't tolerate reasonable critiques of the left.
-
I think he's been on twice already.

2/2... mixed with the growing understanding of PTSD, using language of trauma and being co-opted into social justice movements. Conflating emotional distress about injustice with emotional abuse and trauma... anyway...THX for great talk.

Maybe from now on, you won't associate the behavior of a microscopic minority with the "entire left" as you have done egregiously in the past.
