"Sam Harris is absolutely not racist." "He can't be tribal and bias, because logic!, dah!". How dare you offend God Harris worshiper??

The Atlantic article hit the nail on the head. Jeong was just imitating the class-hatred of elite whites, to avoid being punished for being a typical, polite (submissive) Asian women. She loves white men, and this is a liability for her.
-
This type of sophisticated rationalizing can be used by far-right extremists as well. It's not an excuse.
-
Not an "excuse" Pretending to hate white people, in order to build your brand as a sassy, right-thinking, trump-era "model minority", is a good bit less ethical than hating us 4 real. Jeong is a fraud: willing to hurt whoever she thinks her bosses want her to.

I see the IDW is patting each other on the back more and more.

What an astute observation. It's almost as if they enjoy each other's work.

Congrats to Sam on following the exact footsteps of Dave Rubin

BTW, Rubin is a big liar. He said he didn't know Sam before his appearance on TYT. Then, how the F* did he manage to book Sam for very first episode of his show? A likely conspiracy theory: golden girl show... -
He really is a sad joke. He is literally no different than dave Rubin. I can’t believe I ever thought this guy was an intellectual
-
Same here. A lot of us lost hope on Sam. He wants to make a business model, not a legacy of being an intellectual...

Really going all in with white grievance politics huh, Sam?
-
It’s really quite upsetting. I had so much respect for this guy before.
-
I hope in a few years he takes stock and realizes that he was siding with white reactionaries while POC were being shot in the streets or their children thrown in concentration camps. Maybe we get the old Sam back then.
-
Weirdly the analogy I think of is Greenwald. Someone who is "of the left" but spends all his time claiming that fascists are right about everything. Was a warning sign when he said Trump made "more sense" than Clinton on terrorism. How can a rational person think that?
-
Of course Trump made more sense on Terrorism than Clinton. She wouldn’t even acknowledge the problem. Trying to please the “all religions are just as bad” crowd and it’s an ignorant stance at this point in history.
-
Really. Ban all Muslims was a better proposal? Is that really going to be your position?

I have to say that
@ezraklein represents the worst of the#SJW ethos; slippery as an eel, splitting hairs and arguing against self-evident truths staring into our faces. -
I like him, but the mental gymnastics he’s doing to rationalize toxicity like this is not impressive.
