Wow, the globalism view straight from the world bank. By the numbers. middle class lifestyle is roughly 20% of the world's population. Capitalism is all about training to not see the real numbers. It's why you believe a 4% unemployment rate.pic.twitter.com/mPqJxJHZQR
-
Bingo. Everyone wants to talk about a "population problem." The real problem is our resource-dense way of life. The industrialized West has 20-25% of the world's population, but consumes 75-80% of Earth's resources. The prospect of BRIC nations consuming like that is untenable.
-
The Western World should downgrade its lifestyle to living in hovels at $1 per day instead?
-
Said no one at all.
-
You are the one whining about people having a first world lifestyle, not me. Why should the masses have to give up their comfortable lifestyle? We aren't talking about rich guys with three mansions, but normal people in the US and Europe.
-
I'm not whining, just pointing out the fact that if everyone on Earth adopted a Western way of life, we'd need the resources of 7 Earths. It's a physical impossibility, and would be an environmental catastrophe. We have to reduce resource density, it's not even debatable.
-
The population begins decreasing when societies become wealthier. You assume that families will keep having litters of kids at the same rate. This isn't the case. People delay marriage and childbirth, women have careers and fewer kids, etc.
-
I assume nothing. Everything I've stated is based on objective facts. And the population of the West is already declining, for some of the reasons you pointed out, yet it doesn't change fact that it still consumes vast majority of Earth's resources, & continues to increase rate.

You should talk to someone on your show who is objective about Trump. Not delusional Tom Nichols or a fan like Scott Adams. I've heard you say multiple times that you want to understand people's views on Trump, yet I haven't heard you speak to objective observers.
-
How would we determine their objectivity? What makes you think Nichols isn't being objective? Sam was on Ben Shapiro's Sunday show. Is Shapiro objective?
-
Most certainly not. Shapiro criticises Trump on things like speech (which can be worth discussing) rather than policies. Trump is taking part in awful policies that almost nobody, left or right, is talking about. And Nichols is a prime example of the hysteria caused by Trump.

"facebook ads are an act of war and conducting diplomacy with Putin after that brutal facebook attack is "treason."" this take is so batshit its unbelievable.
-
Yep, he’s an idiot. And Sam’s Trump Derangement Syndrome sadly discredits most of his work - he’s just not the ‘clear thinker’ he at first appeared to be.
-
He's obviously not an idiot though. I can't help but think it is dishonest at this point...
