What about Christopher Hitchen's type of anger, fuckers? Chisel that in stone. "Why do the wicked prosper, I REALLY WANT TO KNOW" loss of control leads to confusion leads to outrage leads to anger who has control, and why? how do I find out. ask the questions... seek answers.
-
Is there not a more nuanced way to look at the problems at hand without attacking perspective-based justified angers without treating the source not the symptoms? There are actors out there worth realizing. Do not be controlled by fear. Use your voice and wait. Trust but verify.
-
Wait and listen. Be heard but listen too. All will be revealed-except that which we can not know about the other or should not presume to know. Give good reason before you give good-faith.

Does this fit with you and Trump?
-
It's possible to be angry in an informed way about many specific aspects of his behaviour without grasping the unsavoury cipher which is the man.
-
I know. In Sam's case, I think it's justified anger based on very general aspects of Trump. I think it shows a limitation of David's phrase. People can be justifiably angry while not knowing many details of it, as long as they are right on their general impressions.
-
There are many valid (and necessary) epistemic shortcuts for cases like Trump, but it is always possible to slip into overuse, or motivated use, without noticing.
