Securing peace in the Korean peninsula where previous presidents failed miserably is 'delusion'. Record growth and job creation are 'delusions' as well. Seems to me, fanatical liberal atheists are the ones having trouble with reality.

can't attribute the growing economy Trump inherited from Obama as Trump's doing. Trumpers have been saying he helps the economy since his first week of office, before passing any legislation.
-
Investments and consumer confidence are indeed the only things a president can affect. That’s on Trump not the last guy.
-
You're talking about the stock market which is not always the best indicator of economic growth. Second, you think the last 8 years of stock growth before Trump had nothing to do with Obama, but in ~2 weeks it had everything to do with Trump? That's confirmation bias my friend.

show? yeah... delusional? i don’t think so. he’s changed my mind. i like what he’s doing. the difference between him and the last 5 presidents is that he’s keeping his campaign promises.
#unpresidented <- pun intended -
p.s. i embarrassingly voted for HRC. but with two years of hindsight and the deep state being exposed for what they are, i’m thankful she lost.
-
Same here brother. Such a strange thing seeing Sam struggle with reality.
-
he has almost a religious like devotion to the left. i guess everyone has blind spots. even otherwise brilliant minds like
@SamHarrisOrg -
Same... voted for HC and regret it. The radical left would've only grown worse if she won. Now that I understand more about globalist, it would've been a nightmare if she was elected. Additionally, she possesses major health issues and has seizures just speaking to reporters.

Obama talked pretty and did terrible things that weakened the foundation of governing in this nation. Trump talks like a jackass but has returned more responsibility back to the legislature than any president in the last century. Trump is the better president.
-
Had HRC been elected, she certainly would have continued Obama’s legacy of egregious executive overreach. And combined it with the Clintons insatiably greed and corruption.

I appreciate that Sam Harris, unlike many of his “IDW” peers actually calls out Trump and bad ideas on the right. Please stop letting
@RubinReport tag along with you guys. -

The point of the IDW is to have diverse opinions and support free speech of these opinions.
@RubinReport is a much needed part of the IDW and his show alone is an example of how he combatted the regressive left and upheld reason and real conversation. -
For me it’s because he paints anything left of center with a broad brush. Meanwhile I never see him engage in issues where the right is anti intellectual. I also feel he gives knee jerk responses to complex issues without the facts
-
To see prominent members of the IDW not care about this case is worrisome as in the future more people will likely be in the same free speech tragedies but apparently it's too complex for
@RubinReport@joerogan to cover or care enough to look deeper into. Love them both, but sad -
That is the crux of my issue with him. He does hot takes that are packaged as deep dives. Meanwhile he glosses over cases like that. I was very disappointed in his knowledge of SCOTUS majority and dissenting opinions on the gay wedding cake case. He tweeted w/out reading it
-
I also feel that as anti intellectual and narrative driven as elements of the left can be. The right does it to the same degree in other arenas. Evolution and climate science being the two that jump to mind first. But also any study into recidivism.
-
If we could hold the labeling of “leftists” and “alt right” for those who actually are in those groups I’d be a lot happier.
