Sadly, Dave Rubin doesn't live by his "free exchange of ideas" values and has blocked me for pointing out that he is using identity politics when he cites his gay marriage and support for pot legalization when people point out that he isn't economically liberal.
-
I've also been blocked by him. Seems he wants his Twitter followers to simply massage his ego or perpetuate his echo chamber.
-
I'm blocked, too. Dave Rubin blocks everyone who criticized him, but he plays the victim card, if someone blocks him...

Notice the growing number of disappointed admirers Sam ? It’s not bc these people are “intellectually dishonest”/ hysteric leftists. It’s your confusion about what threatens our moral landscape’s central peeks. Your strict template for “rational discourse” seems siloed.

-
And your current crew of neo neo-lib bros and the exacerbated circle jerks seem to be ignoring the noise from people offering thoughtful critique of the Murray/Jordan/Charles camp of murky western chauvinist/Christian conservatism dressed up as rational intellectual middle view.

I paid 136 bucks to see Jordan Peterson and Sam debate in Vancouver. Sadly, I don't think I can really stand either of the two any longer. The seat I bought will remain empty. Such a trip to admit, considering Sam was nothing short of an idol of mine for 10 years if not longer.
-
I get that Jordan Peterson has always rubbed me the wrong way but Sam has just irked me a little since the Ezra Klein conversation. I still like Sam Harris but there have been some annoying patterns that would just take one positive example to counteract... still waiting

You've found nothing useful or interesting in anything SH has done in the last couple months? Including the podcast with
@michaelpollan ? I don't understand how you were ever a fan if that is the case. I mean I don't always agree on all the stuff but it's at least interesting. -
No! I love all his content ~ his latest podcast was great I even agreed with him in the Ezra Klein “debate” however he seems very stuck on being right from that. He could just very easily throw some red meat to the conversation about race relations in the USA
-
I know he is a left wing guy who understands the problems and has stated them before, however this time round it’s just rubbing me the wrong way that he seemingly refuses to just toss out any sort of acknowledgement. He just seems a bit stubborn on that whole conversation
-
Yeah it seems like a few people feel that way. I guess he just believes that his position on it is right and therefore no need to give credence to the other side. But yeah, I get that it seems like he could have a bit more humility and understanding of the other side.
-
Yeah ~ nothing against his content. Still enjoying

No one fights the existential threat of a few blue-haired kids on campus like Dave Rubin. The guy is practically a hero. (sarcasm)
