One more time Mr. Harris. You are not the arbiter of what is and is not valid criticism. It appears that you have delusions of grandeur and have appointed yourself the moderator of all discourse. You're just a fake guru. I thought you were leaving twitter?

Just FYI
@plex_dave you were criticising someone for criticizing someone. So I decided to criticize someone for criticizing someone for criticizing someone. Perhaps you would like to criticise me for criticizing someone for criticizing someone for criticizing someone. -
Very witty :) very good that made me giggle haha

Too many tabloids masquerading as journalists. Now when someone like Musk dares to speak up he's condemned as a trumpesque anti-media tyrant. The real problem is traditional media is fighting for online clicks and have become accustomed to degrading themselves to sensationalism
-
There’s also this new issue where we conflate “not being able to handle criticism” with calling out libel. If he doesn’t call it out, media wins. If he calls it out, he’s labeled defensive and the media still wins.
-
If it’s legitimately libel, why doesn’t he sue instead of threatening to crowd source the truth?
-
Do you realize what you just said? Why is the truth considered a threat? The truth is more powerful than any lawsuit that few would know about.
-
Sorry Mykie, I tend to believe that the court of law is the mode better suited to sorting out the truth, not an appeal to popularity.
-
I tend to believe a site that will be backed with proof of how reporting is inaccurate and funded by the public rather than a company is not a popularity contest but a good opportunity to hold journalists accountable.
-
Funded by the public? He’s going to use tax payer money for it? And What proof are talking about?

Indeed. In fact it's amazing they fail to see the irony and projection. They say he can't handle criticism but it's the media that throws a temper tantrum when anyone criticizes them for their dishonesty and how they've lost and have been losing credibility with the people
-
Seriously. Like, what's the difference between his idea and Rotten Tomatoes or Goodreads?
-
(I mean, aside from the name "Pravda," which is very cheeky)

Musk can simultaneously be doing amazing things and also be on a really weird Trumpian Tirade against the media this past week. There are criticisms to be made about the media, but Musk isn't presenting himself in a way that seems to be coming from an unbiased place.
-
Calling for accountability in main stream media != Trumpian, come-on man. Elon supports
@PolitiFact and it's mission, for example -
I like Musk. But his outrage seems to be directed at reporting about bad news around his companies, literally nothing else. At least that's what his twitter persona on the subject seems to indicate.
-
That's possible. Criticizing any negative publicity about Tesla is not a good strategy for holding the media accountable. I can't comment on his true motivations, but it doesn't mean the underlying message is wrong

its a bit much to claim every single negative report on spacex or tesla is the result of "gossip hounds". Also the idea has a large number of flaws in addition to seemingly coming from poor motivations.
