"If you're going to talk about me and Jordan Peterson in the same sentence, or me and Ben Shapiro in the same sentence, you have to acknowledge that we disagree about almost everything." This is good to hear.

I'm pretty surprised to hear the Peterson events aren't likely to be published anytime soon given the massively overwhelming demand.
-
He said he wouldn't have the rights to the audio, so it's possible that
@ThePangburn would release it separately, like the Chicago event with Lawrence Krauss, and Matt Dillahunty that was never released on Harris's platform.https://youtu.be/WGVcdEb_eUk -
But he also said something about not expecting it to be released by them before he has another non-Pangburn event with Peterson iirc.

Great stuff. But Sam's blind-spot's in full gear when he talks about the unique mind-reading Left. He has no grievances with those who read his mind on right. And he isn't going at them to amplify and extend the possible debates.
@jordanbpeterson says sam's a Christian :) -
JBPs mistake is not mind reading of the sort explained in the podcast where your opponent pretends to know what you think better than you do. Insofar as it's a misrepresentation of Sam's views, it's an honest one and when pressed, will correct it. As seen here:pic.twitter.com/ftRUcB0stG
-
Yea, JP does a lot of saying what people *really* are thinking. He gets all Pomo about it, calling it the "actual understructure" of their concepts :) Sam, ignores (and avoids going after) the folks on right who say terrible things about what he's *really* thinking.
-
I think what he said was he doesn't seem to receive that sort of rhetoric from the right. There's probably some lesser known rightwing podcasters out there who do it. But for the most part, conservatives aren't insisting on assigning beliefs to Sam that he doesn't actually hold.

Have you intellectual dark web types condemned Claire Lehmann's old Rebel co-host Gavin McInnes for intimidation yet? What about Atalante's intimidation of the press in Montreal? Or does free speech only count for wingnuts at tiny colleges?https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/far-right-proud-boys-menaced-twitter-user-on-his-doorstep_us_5b06de68e4b07c4ea1060e92?ncid=engmodushpmg00000004 …

You're asking for intellectual honesty from the
#IntellectualDarkWeb. That will never happen. They don't attack members of their own tribe. Did you see Weinstein slavishly defend Peterson? An embarrassment. And they'd never attack their only source of IDW fanfiction.

Sam, I’m glad you brought up the point that “wealth inequality is a problem even when it is getting better for everyone”. I thought this many times while reading
@sapinker’s optimistic “Enlightenment Now”. -
Inequality is getting better for everyone? I'm pretty sure, though not certain, there is a dangling participle here that confuses the meaning of the sentence.
-
Wealth and income are getting better for everyone. Inequality isn’t getting better. My mistake was not using a comma. “It” does not refer to “wealth inequality”, therefore I don’t think there is a dangling participle.

the one on "tribalism" definitely should be released to the general public.
-
He clearly explains to
@ezraklein in their podcast together why he reject the accusation that he himself engages in tribalism. -
I thought this reply was more comprehensive though and less likely to be misunderstood. However, I'm not sure interacting with these people more than necessary is helpful. It just brings more attention.
