Imagine replacing Rage Against the Machine with The 1975 at Reading and Leeds. I appreciate that bookers have very little time to find a replacement, but that's not at all like-for-like in terms of the actual music. I can imagine there's a lot of unhappy people right now!

Good for Villa, but personally I don't understand this appointment from the perspective of Gerrard. If he fails at Villa then he's going to completely ruin his chances of getting a deserved shot at the Liverpool job one day. He was on course to earning the gig at Rangers.
