    Saw these comments on YouTube yesterday, immediately bought Levelhead (cross-platform, $7 on Android) and disappeared into the editor for 8 hours. Instantly charmed by it, feels polished and cared-for, OST is nice and I think all of it including menu music can be used in levels!

    We were so immensely lucky to be in the same era as SOPHIE, and we're going to feel her impact and influence for decades. All my musical friends are more dynamic, all my trans friends are more themselves than ever. I love everyone who loved her. I'm sorry we're hurting today.

    remember first hearing SOPHIE. a roundup of the best songs of the year in 2013, BIPP was inescapable, and I heard the song adorned with a plastic slide on the cover. I hated it. I absolutely didn't get it and hated it. But I couldn't get enough of this beat-free song.

    SOPHIE was seriously a once in a lifetime vision of what an artist can be and how boundaries can be pushed. influential is seriously not a strong enough word for how much she shaped art. Rest in peace.

    With BIPP's release, SOPHIE gave me one of the last major shifts in how I perceived and conceived music. May we collectively reverberate some of what she brought us, both sonically, and in terms of inspiration to color the conversation of music with our unique voices.

    This is a PSA for anyone selling cassette tapes. Please try to send them out using cardboard mailboxes - If you just throw the plastic cassette box into some bubble wrapped envelope it's going to arrive smashed like the last few I've had delivered :( be kind to ur cassettes >:(
