    It needs to be made clear quite how disastrous 2 or 3°C heating will be. You would think the word Catastrophic would cover it, but we need to understand, normal life as we know it, ends. Forever.

    Do you think the public understand this? No, me neither. The vast majority of journalists and editors working today should resign and make way for those listening to the science and able to explain the immense threat to the public

    Need to question who the ‘we’ is & why it’s framed to be in the future. Billions across the world, esp in the Global South, have been dealing with climate breakdown for decades while being ignored for raising alarm bells, silenced, pathologized & continually extracted from. So…

    We’ve got 6-8 years before the climate is so chaotic we live in a permanent state of biblical catastrophe & still we’re all walking around like it’s 1997 and we’re at a Third Eye Blind concert. I’ll never ever get used to how frickin crazy it is to be alive right now.
