Out of solidarity, and because its on the mind.
As a former Beto for Texas & America staffer, I'm deeply disappointed in Beto's decision.
Only one campaign right now is summoning the grassroots energy, enthusiasm, and coalition of the Texas Senate race. Bernie's. (1/2) twitter.com/chrischudeleon

As Becky Bond said, its big ideas that build big movements. In 2018, that big idea was flipping Tx. It's now clear that in 2020 the big ideas are still:
Medicare For All
A Green New Deal
College For All
An affordable living wage
For 2020, we need a movement. (2/2)

To be clear. Disappointment in his decision to endorse is not for ‘who’ he endorsed, but ‘that’ he endorsed.
There’s a reason former Presidents don’t endorse, it tips the scales. Beto should have refrained. That he didn’t takes the primary that much away from the people’s power

I have a few questions and I’m going to post them with no expectation of an answer bc you don’t owe me any!
1) would you guys want Biden staffers to do this if the situation was reversed?
2) what are we committed to, together? Is there anything left?

I’m deeply happy with Beto’s decision. It’s for the good the country and Texas.

Many voters believe in big ideas but are strategic about it. You need the senate, the house, the presidency and a friendly SCOTUS to do anything. I would also remind people that Bernie's staff and supporters have trashed Beto since dec 2018. Can't be mad he's not endorsing Bernie

Can’t believe anyone honestly thought Beto would endorse Bernie. That is wild to me.

Thank you for your work for Beto! I volunteered extensively for Beto and am thrilled by his endorsement. No matter who he endorsed, some folks were going to be disappointed. That’s how democracy works.
