    Anyone who works in children's healthcare will be unsurprised by this report's findings - parents of children with complex needs experience significant stress, anxiety and mental health struggles

    Today's report confirms that anxiety, stress and mental wellbeing levels in parents of disabled children are significantly worse than the general population. This trend isn't improving. We need recovery.

    says that the Govt needs to get serious about carers, both paid and unpaid. Without them, our health and social care systems would have collapsed under the weight of Covid. They are underpaid and undervalued. A review is long overdue.

    now speaking. We should start to think differently about care - it is one of the strongest sectors we have in terms of growth. It’s time to be creative, innovative and scientific about care, rather than condemn it to run on cheap labour.

    is next up. He says the pandemic has played havoc on our education system. Govt should give schools and pupils the time and resources to recover. Children have not only lost schooling but also part of their childhood.

    Is the reason that Boris Johnson wants to scrap the Fixed Term Parliaments Act so that he can call an early general election before the public inquiry into the Government’s handling of the Covid 19 pandemic can publish a report? One reason why we should not scrap it.
