    Govt struggles to keep any consistency in messaging over , with limited freedom to go abroad now allowed but with warning us all not to do so people with literally vote with their feet over this.

    email from Nepali Dr friend today. "The situation is really bad here in Nepal...> 60 % of the population already infected. The positivity rate among tested is 45%. Mortality per day (1.8%)...no beds + severe shortage of oxygen supply. Most deaths are due to lack of oxygen."

    I coordinated this letter to the PM as Chair of the . The current inquiry timetable of spring 2022 means vital lessons could go unlearned ahead of any potential third wave.

    We've written to Boris Johnson calling for the chair and panel of the Covid inquiry to be picked through a cross-party process to avoid political bias. We're also concerned that the current timetable of spring 2022 will mean lessons go unlearned ahead of a potential third wave.

    The Government has previously claimed that Ministers were not involved in the direct award of PPE contracts. Their friends seem to think otherwise. We have concluded there was systemic bias. Read and judge for yourself:

    Anyone who works in children's healthcare will be unsurprised by this report's findings - parents of children with complex needs experience significant stress, anxiety and mental health struggles

    Today's report confirms that anxiety, stress and mental wellbeing levels in parents of disabled children are significantly worse than the general population. This trend isn't improving. We need recovery.
