What the gov did was leave establishment staffers and owners to take the brunt and abuse from anti-maskers by siding with the CDC. Wear a mask or don't. But if you don't, just leave others alone and don't go to places that require masks. Common sense.

Listen, Texans, who don't want to wear a mask when the mandate is lifted. Whatever. You're going to do what you want to do. Remember that all this talk about "your freedom" when you try to intimidate mask-wearers and establishments who will require masks. Go somewhere else.

I may not be a plotter, but my editorial strategy is legit organized the same way every time in multi-step phases. I found something that works for me: divide and conquer.

9 months ago, I asked hubs to trim my hair. I made the mistake of giving him scissors before directions. He took my hair and cut straight across and said: DONE before I finished my sentence. It actually looked okay. My hair is waist long now. Wondering if we should try again...

Shoutout to @fema for coming in after our natural disaster/crisis here in TX by providing a link to request financial aid and promptly denying us. I feel especially valued and supported and cared for.

And waking up every hour thinking the power went out and we need huddle under 5 layers of clothing and 4 layers of blankets for warmth again. OMG. The psychological residual effects are real.

Still afraid to turn on the faucet in the morning for fear that another pipe will burst.

I keep thinking we gotta wake up early, drag in the buckets of gathered water, and boil all the pots we have and take the rest to the bathroom.

Still having flashbacks of gathering and melting snow so we can fill the toilet water tank just so we can go to the bathroom. Like, I legit had to pee last night (2 days after getting water back) and thought: but HOW badly, though? Enough to break my back refilling the tank?

Shoutout to my cousins' neighbors who gave us gallons upon gallons of water and to my cousins who trekked across ice to carry those buckets back to the house 2x a day for days and still going.

I may be alright now, but there are still thousands of people without power/heat, without water, without food, needing medical assistance, and roads are ice. Let's try to help one another where we can.

Just got back online. Hope fellow Texans are surviving this nightmare. We went 80 hours without power starting in 0 degree weather and days without water due to busted pipe. WTF is happening? WTH are we paying taxes for while "leaders" say asinine crap and going on vacation?
