I’d love to interview someone that made the journey from new chess player in their 30’s to NM. Does anyone have any suggestions?

FM Nathan Resika, started chess in his 20s. NM at 31, and reached FM title at 40. Here is an interview: youtu.be/_6Q10_V7vDs
There are other examples like this, but it’s exceptional of course
He's one of the most encouraging examples, but there seems to be a line even between people who started in their early 20s versus 30+. In particular it seems if you hit 1600-1800 by your early 20s the ceiling is much higher.

I don’t believe on any « ceiling » regarding the age you start chess. I started a year ago, (I’m 30), all my coaches told me countless stories about adult improvers in their 30-40 even 50s who achieve great results in competitive chess. 1/2
