Is this surprising? I thought it was obvious this was going to be priced at Masters-tier when MTGO was still charging $7/pack. Only question will be what Amazon charges.

Not really, the $7 MTGO price was a pretty clear sign of Masters set-like pricing to me, although not everyone is in-tune with the MTGO market.

Even though they say they don't pay attention to it, it's just WOTC doing what they can to cash in on secondary market prices. And the mtg community & mtg finance community has proven they'll buy up just about anything now, players be damned.
