Is it legal for the MEPs to approve a which did not assess the climate/sustainability impacts of any gas project as is obliged under PCI Regulation 347/2013? DG Energy hopes MEPs can turn a blind eye to approve €29 billion in unnecessary projects on 4th PCI list. hmmm!

Wow, So the man who would lead the country says Shannon LNG may not be used for US Fracked Gas. Not well informed for debate on Climate tonight? The same dinosaur logic as who got €20,000 in mileage from Shannon Development

If declares "the leap we need to make to address the climate and biodiversity crisis" as his Red Line for a Green Participation in Government, does this include his "climate-change issue of the first order" ?

Now that is a real deliverable Green Red Line on a ban on Fracked Gas imports and LNG terminals which must be part of any new Programme for government. Why not? Shannon LNG was slipped into the last Programme for Government too.

Comprador European Commission pushing US fracked gas imports broke the law to allow €29 billion of gas projects on the 4th PCI list without climate impact assessment to circumvent EIB ban on fossil fuels. Doing it for 5th PCI list is too late. Cheating the Green Red Lines. Sad.

The European Commission promises to look at climate impacts in future PCI lists, but expects us to turn a blind eye to this 4th PCI list where it broke the law by not assessing the climate impacts of US fracked gas import projects. Not really okay now, is it?

Fantastic News! Motion passed yesterday that Cork County Council will write to and ask them to drop . Its a powerful message as a similar motion passed in the city council two weeks ago. This shows there is no for this project.
