  3. 3/3 Central Government informed us they were ‘unable to find a way to support this’ Only 40 districts so far have decided to make the App available to help teach Vulnerable Young Girls how to use it to get to a Safe Place in time of need Vulnerable young girls need help!

  4. 2/3 2 years ago we notified every Safe Places scheme operator We notified every Police & Crime Commissioner an asked them to support their local scheme to make the Apps available We Notified Central Government and asked them to support us helping vulnerable young girls

  5. 1/3 It's a travesty that so many vulnerable young girls are being exploited We had to act We worked with the Girl Guides to have Safe Places included in their New Badges Young girls can now be taught to use the free Safe Places Apps to get to a Safe Place in time of need

  6. We know we are probably a bit biased but having a Safe Places scheme in place would surely help So many people are anxious about taking steps towards independence like these Knowing support is available & how to access it helps with confidence & they provide support if needed

  7. The Safe Places National Network is working to unite all Safe Places schemes Our aim is to create a Nationwide Network of Support for vulnerable people 41 Districts have joined so far If your local district hasn't joined yet Tell them to hurry up & get their skates on!

  8. This is something we see all the time - Safe Place schemes having their funding withdrawn & closing In the last year alone we have seen the closure of Hammersmith & Fulham, Warrington & Bury to name just 3 Commissioners often fail to see the benefit of Community Based Support

  13. We're over the moon you are 'Very Happy' there are Safe Places This is exactly why Safe Places schemes were established We work to ensure anyone can get support no matter where they are This will only happen when all districts choose to join the nationwide network of support
