I’m not from CA. Not even close. How your post made it onto my feed is random. That being said. It seems pretty cut and dry. Someone acts like this. You call the cops. He is arrested. THEN from that point someone can have some mental health talks with the guy.

You are clearly not from SF. Cops will show up 20 minutes after you call them and sometimes arrest but the DA

If the cops show up at all. I’d actually call if I thought they would show up, but even with active assault/domestic violence on my street, I never see them show up when I’ve called. And yes, I call when someone seems to be in danger.
