I wouldn’t be doing it to come back from it. But if I did, what an achievement. If not, waste of resource

You never come back from it. I used to be a most loving, open person. I would pick up hitchhikers & invite strangers into my home, now I live as a hermit. In fact, I went more than half a year without leaving my home. I met someone recently, a man who seems really kind.

He asked me out, but how could I in good conscience ever have a relationship with him? Is it fair to drag him into this? It makes life unlivable. It makes life unbearable.
At 52, I have a DNR in place. I refuse to have life saving surgery. What does that tell you?

I should also mention that I did not give consent. Not at all. I wasn’t even told about it. A public apology is long overdue. I am waiting.
