    SPD investigating a fatal vehicle collision in the area of Freeport / Mcallister. Please avoid the area. Freeport (both directions) is closed from 38th Ave / 43rd Ave while detectives investigate the collision. Thank you for your patience.

    Today, we had the opportunity to show more than 50 Boy Scouts our police facility and some of our specialty units, including CSI, K9, Mounted Unit, SWAT and our Real Time Crime Center. They also attended roll call with our patrol officers.
