The responses in my timeline have been telling. Women are tired of hearing, "We'll have space for you soon," and basically, "Get your arse in gear and help figure this out instead of leaving it up to us."

One player quoted was half accurate, and it's something women have known for years: any woman in the space has to prove herself twicefold for the same recognition a male counterpart does.

I call BS on "language barrier" excuse. Multiple teams have some S.Koreans, a random Swede, a German (for example) and there's no language barrier? What do women speak? Some kind of frilly flowery dialect that men don't understand...?

Super disappointing. Geguri is why I played Zarya and is absolutely an amazing force. What a shame.

This article made me want to throw things. "Until it's time for women to join they'll just have to work twice as hard as everyone else." (Paraphrased) like ...seriously??? Is this even 2018? *throws coffee mug*

Zarya isn't part of the current meta, nor is she as good as the other players and if she can only play zarya and not flex at all then she wouldn't be good for an Esports team
-
she's a killer flex-tank - sure she got known for her Zarya play but her D.Va, Rein, Orisa, and Hog are top-notch.
