Monica, too often the whole story isn't told, often the 'how, what next" are omitted from reporting. That kind of journalism is everywhere. Doom-scroll reportage gives people the wrong impression that catastrophe is everywhere. They have tuned out, their numbers are growing.

It can be many things obviously and done at different levels of “good”(or otherwise). Not my point though. This sort of journalism in less than good hands? Not sure that gets to a standard that can be trusted.
