    It’s a strike. It doesn’t need employer’s “approval,” and it’s subject to the protection under the constitution. Medics 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️ do not deserve this intimidation.

    Strong support medical workers strike💪🏼 But Hospital Authority emailed medical workers who wish to take part in the strike, threatening that they will not support nor give consent to any of such action. This is complete disregard of medical workers’ right to strike and assembly.

    It blows my mind when 🇭🇰 are said to be xenophobic against mainland while the latter always claim that they are all ethnic Chinese and in “one family.” Pick your side first. To some extent the Han Chinese are more racist against aren’t they? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

    Perhaps the best way to stop xenophobia/prejudice agst mainlanders in Hong Kong is to close border amid . Often xenophobia/prejudice is caused by fear of unknown n distrust. By allowing visitors fr virus source, HK govt is making things worse.

    [2/2] a responsible gov’s priority is to prevent any local community outbreak. Border controls and other public health measures are necessary. We should surely deal with growing xenophobic concerns, but stop equating it with what is needed to contain the virus 🦠
