It seems like there's a fairly easy fix for this problem. Just like if an individual youtuber abuses the Copyright system, big companies should be held to the same standard, if they abuse it, they get banned. It always seems to be the same few companies doing things like this.

Yes, a company has a right to protect their copyright. BUT, they are totally abusing the system. They should be blocked from using the automated system for a set time. In the end, the content creator also has their own copyright to protect.

But that is the problem, look at the picture we're writing under as an example, it seems 90% of the time, the company claiming DOESN'T own the copyright, the CC does. So if companies are abusing the automated system, they should have to taken away and have to manually do it.

That's part of the problem though. When it gets reviewed who reviews it? The company who claimed the video in the first place. Even when they are in the wrong, if they say "Nah.. its ours" The only option is to go to court.. And ain't no one taking Warner to court.

Yeah I can totally agree with that. It's just shitty to know that people like us, without an "M" after the number, would never get a chance to keep our money.

Life is a grind and I get that. YouTube can't get round to everyone, but they can help protect the creator. These are the multi billion dollar companies that cry when you illegally download a song. Yet they steal millions from small creators. And get away with it.
