these ginormous modern homes popping up in neighborhoods that are completely out of character & scale of the neighborhood, I just don’t get it. PS: $2m for 3bd/3bh & over 3,000 sq feet? scale of the rooms of in itself is absurd

We have one of these on the next block over. It’s such a waste, even bigger than a nearby apartment building but it’s just a single residence.

$85,000 in affordable housing fees not realized because it has 1 door. If it has 2 units they are required to pay the fee

Perhaps the fee should be based on whether the per unit price is affordable, not how many units

Let's change zoning to build more units, but more design review is not something we need. People can choose their own paint colors (or, fewer design review mandated ketchup and mustard colored buildings please).
