How are we going to know who is verified and who isn't?

Instead of a check mark or music note, you’ll now see a grey background behind verified channel names across YouTube. You’ll also see a note about the change when you hover over a verified channel name to help everyone get familiar with it.

How will this affect person's with low or impaired vision? There are a lot of accessibility guidelines in place against using color or gradient as information. I feel like you don't care about accessibility or persons with disabilities.

Thanks for raising this, it's an important question! We do accessibility testing -- for example, we make sure things like screen readers can identify the new design. Also note that the current check mark is also grey (against a white background).
