    Delegate Danica Roem says it better than I ever could. I also wasn't brave enough to be myself at a young age, I was too terrified of the societal reaction. The bravery that trans kids show today is inspiring. These kids need to be protected, not discriminated against.

    As a member of the media, I advise you to ignore the media -- especially polls and pundits. Read the candidates' plans. Listen to their speeches. Ignore pseudo-debates about "electability" designed to be self-fulfilling prophecies. Vote for who you think will do the best job.
