    Not just better for the environment and traffic problems, think of the public health benefit!

    For not much more that the East Reading Mass transport link, Seville built an integrated cycle network in 4 years. It cost €32m. It takes 70,000 trips everyday. They have a metro that cost €800m. It takes 44,000 trips everyday.

    RBC will need to keep every inch of its designated green space! As there is huge amounts of development of flats these people will require places for recreation and leisure. RBC needs to stop looking fir quick cash and think about what residents really need.

    Setting a dangerous precedent ignoring local plan policies that aim to protect the health of people and the environment, in particular the Thames and Kennet river mouth

    Disappointed that Reading Councillors just approved controversial raised bus lane along the Thames green corridor. Highly damaging scheme, vastly inadequate ecological mitigation proposed. Means real losses for wildlife & environmental assets in Borough. Very disappointing.
