    Thank you to our great SMM school community for the generous donations to the local nonprofit My Dog Eats First. This entire trailer was full when they left our campus this morning! Our Mustangs are the best!

    Our 5th grade Pulsera sale was very busy this morning. The Pulseras (bracelets) were made by artists in Nicaragua & Guatemala. Pulseras are $5 & bolsitas (purses) $10. All profits from the sale go back to the communities of these artists.

    The kindergarten and 6th grade buddies had their Easter egg hunt today. They enjoyed spending time together and finding out what sweet treats were in each of the eggs.

    Our 4th graders dissected owl pellets in science class today. Digging through the digested mouse hairs to find bones of the mouse was quite interesting for our students!

    Our 5th graders began selling Pulseras today that were made by artists in Nicaragua & Guatemala. Pulseras are $5 & bolsitas are $10. All profits from the sale go back to the communities of the artists. Their goal is to raise $800 for communities they have been learning about!

    As a part of STREAM week our Jr. High students studied the Titanic in Literature and Social Studies classes. Our amazing cafeteria brought the Titanic to life today with “Living History.” 3rd class dinner complete with period music was served to our Jr. High for lunch.

    The school is abuzz with busy hands and engaged minds this week as the students are participating in amazing STREAM activities. Our Jr. High students built water roller coasters, the 5th graders experienced tsunamis, & our drama students made a xylophone out of water.

    Miss Martin’s Kindergartens discovered the leprechauns really messed up their room this morning with overturned chairs, toilet paper hanging about and even turned the toilet water green. Oh my! They also went on a hunt to find the leprechaun’s lucky treasure! ☘️
