I will not engage with him, as I see no point in giving him opportunity to bounce more mendacious nonsense off against my comments, but I felt it is important to give this example to explain why I am weary of scholars who do still engage with him or are on the forums he moderates

finally: I was in two minds about posting any of this. on the one hand I am grateful that I was alerted to this nonsense as it pertained to me. on the other, I think it is a waste of anyone’s time and energy to think about what goes on at that forum
