It's not like you're going to be changing the position of your nexus to account for already made batteries. Unless I misread your tweet and that change still falls under the technical issues that you initially mentioned.

I think that's factoring in too much of the meta of high-level play. For instance, newer players could certainly build Nexuses in the middle of the map alongside a forward Shield Battery push.

I also don't think it's inconceivable for players to build Batteries slightly outside the range of the Nexus where they would need a reminder of which ones can be overcharged. Again, you have to consider all skill levels.

Finally, we strive to make all abilities follow the established rules of SC as much as possible, and abilities that have range having range indicators is one of those rules.

Yea, it sounds pretty resonable. But maybe we can add this circle while building battaries as well? So it can help placing it correctly

Doesn't it do that already? Also, the pre-placement model for the Battery should be tinted green when it's in the range of a Nexus.
