Sure, but I would argue that benefits of the information gained from having the nexus always having the range indicator outweigh the negatives of the minor annoyance. I suspect this is something players will eventually adapt to, but willing to reconsider my opinion given time.

Well if it CAN be changed to where it's only shown when building a battery, why would it be needed in any other time? Since the only benefit of the radius is to know when it's in range of a battery, then it's fine to just put it on the probe.

It's not like you're going to be changing the position of your nexus to account for already made batteries. Unless I misread your tweet and that change still falls under the technical issues that you initially mentioned.

I think that's factoring in too much of the meta of high-level play. For instance, newer players could certainly build Nexuses in the middle of the map alongside a forward Shield Battery push.
