It takes less than an hour to download a LInux or OpenBSd image, install webservers or databases, migrate settings and data over and be ready for production testing for large numbers of FreeBSD admins or users. #FreeBSD

The supporters of this toxic CoC have attempted to silence all critics and demonize them as alt-right trolls. There is no captive audience that has to just sit there and take what FreeBSD Core dishes out. #FreeBSD

A week ago FreeBSD's main selling point was the project was run by adults with strict focus on well reasoned technological decisions. In a single week that reputation has been destroyed. #FreeBSD

There is no more unique selling point for FreeBSD. ZFS on Linux is now production ready(or very close to). DTrace is now on Linux. Right now FreeBSD is just another unix implementation. #FreeBSD

There are other options out there where the cost to migrate to is close to zero. OpenBSD and Linux being the most likely choices. #FreeBSD

FreeBSD doesn't have the luxury of letting a few toxic individuals turn the project into their own pet ideological tools. Nor does it have the developer base to survive an ideological purge for wrong think. #FreeBSD
