I have a dentist appointment in 30 minutes and I’m so scared. I feel like there’s so much wrong with my teeth they’re just going to take me out back and shoot me. Like a horse with a broken leg. And then they’re going to put a small toothbrush and toothpaste in my body bag.

I had serious dental issues in college. Still living with mistakes I made (including a hole in one of my teeth that needed a root canal). I don't think it's acceptable for a dentist to make you feel bad about your teeth. My childhood dentist did that and that's why my teeth suck.

Me too, glad I’m not the only one! Dealt with an abusive mother at home, and the last thing I needed was a dentist shaming me. Made the issue worse, and now I’m too afraid to go to the dentist at all

so if you ever have teeth problems remind yourself a week before and floss everyday that week you will have a much better time at the dentist. obviously it is a little late for this advice but hopefully this helps someone
