    Tuesday plan: grooming postponed today. We actually got the network 90% complete (both classic/skate) yesterday before we had to pull out when the temperature went above zero. Looks like a repeat of yesterday’s weather. Trail conditions remain good.

    Best of luck getting your second machine back into service. Having functional snowmobiles is a HUGE worry for community trails. It goes to show that having two machines is critical because one acts as a backup. I feel your pain.

    Fresh tracks and fresh snow! Groomed this am with our remaining machine, we hope to have the other back from this week but will be doing our best to keep the trails in top shape with what we have! Happy xcski/fatbike/snowshoe/hike!

    One of the biggest treats of early morning grooming is seeing all the tracks from the wild things of the night. I am not alone! The mighty Ottawa River is dripping with life. Nature is in front of our noses and right in the city. Let us not take it for granted.

    Friday Plan: Trail Maintenance day. No grooming planned but we will be out there doing stuff. Will resume to grooming first thing Saturday to accommodate the weekend crowds.

    Thursday Status: Absolutely beautiful out. Groomer had very little impact on the state of the trail. Conditions remain good. But “crust skiing” incredible!!!!
