  16. Does anyone else's dog like to "help" check your mink raft with you? Worth a quick check as this is the time of year when mink are on the move; males looking for a female mate & females looking for a breeding territory.

  17. A quick check under Grantown bridge on the today revealed a clean bit of sand with a distinct line of footprints; 5-toed print of the otter and if there was any doubt - a fresh otter spraint on the grass.
