The 3rd Annual Forum of the Science Granting Councils Initiative in Sub-Saharan Africa (SGCI) opens today, 6th November in Abidjan. The Initiative brings together councils from 15 countries in Africa. Theme: 'New approaches to financing STI in Africa' @IDRC_AFRIQUE
The Initiative is a joint investment by the @IDRC_CRDI , NRF of South Africa, DFID and Swedish Sida, to strengthen capacities of the science funding agencies to manage research; use STI indicators to design and monitor research programs, to collaborate among themselves.
