your restaurant & wish we could do more to support businesses like yours. What I cannot do is jail people because of their addiction or double down on the failed war on drugs. We need to make it easier to get help than it is to get high in SF.

I don't claim to have THE solution, but as far as I'm concerned - excusing destructive behavior that is called out by GOOD citizens isn't it... We're tired of the piles of needles, trash, and feces. No one called for arresting those with addiction - we want dealers dealt with...

This seems like a good time to call out that his job is not to select the laws he wants to enforce, but rather to uphold the laws of the land. And again, no one called for arresting addicts. But dismissing the concerns of someone for her safety when walking to her car is evil...
