This family divorce shit, and the constant pulling in both directions, has worn me so damn thin. I'm so fucking tired of needing to be on both of their sides and being expected to conspire behind both of their backs.

If you love both of them (assuming you obviously do), tell them that. Don't take sides. Be neutral and tell them you won't. It's not fair for them to tell you to do that. It's their problem, not yours.
