You're right. I don't really have a political affiliation at the moment, so it's nice to see reasonably sound debates. But it's toxic most of the time, whether it's the Right or Left. Unbiased, I see more unreasonable people on the Left. That's just my perception though.

They really think we are male chauvinist, racists, homophobic and we all are part of the dark forces. For no reason!. They definitely don't understand our reasons but we can see theirs. In the end, we are in the same side: the well-being of all human without distinction

Yeah, I wish it was that easy man. People don't want "agree to disagree" since they might lose their popularity with certain followers. I agree that we all should try to be towards helping one another rather than bash on each other for different views. Feelings > Logic nowadays

The problem with the vast majority of online political debate is few people know how to do it well. Logical fallacies are thrown around with abandon,& almost no one tries to refute the opposing thesis with calm, cogent arguments backed up by high quality studies& empirical facts.
