I find the rich techy transplants to be a lot more "criminal"than the homeless people .. and I believe the rich techies have a higher addiction rate for illegal substances

I have no problem with drug use as long people do it in the privacy of their homes and can be a functional member of society. Also, you might need to review the penal code.

Taking narcotics on the street leads to horrible antisocial behaviors. Besides the unspoken permission that it’s OK to criminalize every day citizens. The tenderloin suffers this. Hard drugs definitely isn’t like taking a few puffs of pots.
