BART's Core Capacity Program aims to increase capacity up to 45% by being able to run more frequent and longer trains. It focuses on 4 areas of upgrades:
-A new Communications Based Train Control
-306 extra rail cars
-New traction power substations
-New car rail storage yard

Don’t we have to get riders back? Doesn’t make sense if in 3 years the potential for service cuts and station closures is possible. How bout we make BART safe first!!

Doesn’t really work if there are problems else where since it’s a single track service. Never seems to be a problem at the tube.
