    Good piece, but I remain skeptical that such systems should make any judgments or determinations at all about combatant/noncombatant distinction. Collect information, sure, but leave the analysis to the humans. As soon as you assign a designation, regardless of the %, bias occurs

    Somewhere, sometime an engineering team coded this feature. It was a ticket with a user story, talked about in a standup, work tracked in an jira or something similar. When in that process did someone say “hey, is this ethical? Is this legal?”
