  19. UPDATE: The committee did not take up the drone bill this morning. Much of the committee hearing was devoted to HB 1096, a commercial surrogacy bill. It will be next week before the committee can return to HB 1065 - the drone bill.

    Omaha is waking up to the news that, for the first time in history, its metro newspaper will be owned by an out-of-state company. Lee Enterprises now owns nearly all of Nebraska’s daily newspapers.
