Yes @JustDebNow , you can call or text "Hello" to (858) 866-HELO (4356) to receive the message straight to your phone. That's good to go.

I did that the first day. Didn’t get a text about todays incident. wasn’t sure if I was supposed to. Hang in there!

@JustDebNow, just to clarify. This is not an automated or subscription service. If you want to hear the message on your phone or receive a text message, you must call the number or text "Hello" to (858) 866-HELO each time you hear an announcement being made in your area.
