Santee Update: Accident caused extensive damage to electrical utilities. Power outage in areas around Mission Gorge Rd, West Hills Pkwy, Carlton Oaks Dr, & Mast Blvd. Approx 3,000 residences affected by outage. SDG&E estimates the outage will last all night for repairs.

Santee Update: The driver of the vehicle that damaged electrical transformer has been arrested for driving under the influence. No other vehicles were involved in the accident and the arrestee was not injured.
